The Origin of Original Buddha Art
Original Buddha Art was created from personal inspiration and admiration for Thailand and the way Buddha is present in everyday life there.
My name is Alex Brandt, entrepreneur and owner of several companies. During my travels to Thailand, I became increasingly inspired by the way Thai people live according to the teachings of Buddha — not as something distant or purely religious, but as a way of life based on mindfulness, respect, compassion, and the intention to become a better person each day.
This sense of calm, simplicity, and outlook on life deeply moved me.

The Search for the Right Buddha Art
For a long time, I was searching for Buddha artworks for my own space. Thailand is home to many talented artists and the selection is extensive. However, much of this art fits primarily within traditional or local contexts — beautiful for temples and Thai interiors, but often less suited to modern Western homes and professional environments.
My search therefore continued: for art that preserves the essence of Buddha while presenting it in a contemporary form that also feels at home in Europe.
This journey led to collaborations with carefully selected artists, including Seksak Jaichumchen — artists who not only demonstrate true craftsmanship, but who also work with mindfulness, integrity, and deep respect for the meaning of Buddha.

From Thailand to Europe — with Care and Attention
Bringing Original Buddha Art to life came with its challenges. From selection and quality control to logistics, import, and official documentation — every part of the process had to be carefully managed.
I deliberately chose to oversee every step myself, ensuring that each spiritual artwork arriving in Europe reflects the values that define Original Buddha Art: authenticity, care, and respect — for the artist, the origin, and the meaning of the work.
It fills me with pride that an increasing number of hand-painted Buddha artworks are now finding their way into European homes and workplaces through Original Buddha Art.

More than Art
Original Buddha Art stands for more than decoration. Each Buddha painting offers a moment of calm — a visual anchor in a world that often moves too fast.
By working directly with local independent artists, I help support their livelihood. In addition, a donation is made to a local temple in Thailand with every purchase.
This creates a circle of value: from inspiration, through craftsmanship, to meaningful art in your space.
